Freeze the minimum wage for three years

The ACT Party says it will freeze the minimum wage for three years to help “small business(es) operating on tight margins”.

ACT’s small business policy, available here, also includes:

• creating a “training wage” set at 60% of the minimum wage, for under 20s in their first year with an employer;
• tighter rules around person grievances against employers;
• ending compulsory employer collection of union dues; and
• tax deduction for technology investment.
