New Zealand lawyers have until 30 September to refer a colleague or apply for an IPBA Scholarship to attend the Inter-Pacific Bar Association’s annual conference in Sydney, April 7-10, 2027.
The scholarship programme supports two groups: young lawyers aged 35 or under with fewer than seven years of post-qualification experience, and lawyers from developing countries including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal and the Pacific Islands.
Since 1996, more than 200 lawyers have attended IPBA conferences through the programme.
Selected scholars will receive return airfares to Sydney, full conference registration, hotel accommodation for the duration of the event and three years of IPBA membership.
