The Institute of Judicial Studies has released updates to the Criminal Jury Trials Bench Book and the Māori Land Court Bench Book, reflecting recent changes in the law.
The Criminal Jury Trials Bench Book was first made publicly available in November last year, bringing New Zealand into line with overseas jurisdictions such as the United Kingdom and Australia, while the Māori Land Court Bench Book was published in May this year.
