The government’s latest changes to the fast-track approval regime lack transitional arrangements needed to give applicants clarity and legislative certainty, TLANZ’s Environment & Resource Management Committee says.
In a submission to RMA reform minister Chris Bishop, the committee suggests several amendments to the Fast-track Approvals Amendment Bill, which passed its first reading on November 6, including transitional arrangements.
