Kiwibank has received a warning for overcharging more than 8,000 customers nearly $1 million in account fees because it failed to apply a fees-waiver.
The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) said between March 2005 and November 2024, the bank advertised that customers would not be charged a fee if they were under the age of 18 or 19 or over 65.
