American rapper and singer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will remain behind bars until his sentencing after being found guilty earlier today of a charge of transporting people for the purposes of prostitution.
A jury acquitted Combs (aged 55) on more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, the latter having a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
Combs is still looking at a maximum of 20 years on the transporting charge. In refusing him bail, the judge cited his history of domestic violence.
